Montana basketball fans have a new name to watch — Cameron Fox Buxton, a sophomore guard with big potential and an impressive background. Standing at 5’11”, this athletic and shifty playmaker is drawing comparisons to NBA stars Jalen Brunson and Kyrie Irving for his skillful ball-handling, scoring ability, and crafty playstyle. Originally from Houston, Texas, Buxton previously played for Team Dominate, a respected AAU program based in Cypress, TX. Now adjusting to Montana’s basketball scene, he’s eager to make an impact and showcase his skills with hopes of joining a Select Basketball team. A standout shooter with a strong work ethic, Buxton consistently demonstrates his ability to knock down shots from beyond the arc. Off the court, his dedication shines as an honor roll student, balancing academics with his athletic ambitions. As a member of the Class of 2027, Cameron Fox Buxton has his sights set on playing college basketball. With his combination of skill, determination, and academic excellence, he’s poised to make a lasting impression in Montana’s basketball community, he's looking forward to trying out for Select Basketball’s AAU team.
